Privacy Policy

AI Sales is a field-sales app made by Ai Merch Corp ("we", "us") for beverage distributors and their sales representatives. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. AI Sales is a work tool: accounts are created by the distributor that employs the representative.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, work email address and the password you sign in with (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Location — your device's precise location while the app is open, used to order your day's route, show the map and recognise when you arrive at a store. The app does not track location in the background.
- Photos you take in the app — photos of store shelves, back rooms, delivery documents and promotional displays. They are used to read the shelf (products, facings, empty spaces and prices) and are kept with the store visit. The app has no access to your photo library.
- Work records — store visits, tasks, orders, notes and messages you write to the in-app assistant (AIM), and the notes you ask AIM to remember when Memory is switched on.
- What you say to AIM — when you tap the microphone, your iPhone turns your speech into text with Apple's speech recognition (on the device where the phone supports it; otherwise Apple processes the audio under Apple's privacy policy). The app keeps no recordings: only the resulting text is sent to us, as a note or an order line.
- Notification token — if you allow notifications, a token from Apple so we can tell you when a shelf photo has been read.
How we use it
- To run the app: build your route, prepare store briefings, read shelf photos, place orders and show your progress.
- To generate the assistant's suggestions and answers from your own work records. This processing runs on servers operated by Ai Merch Corp; your data is not sent to third-party AI services and is not used to train third-party models.
- To show street routes and drive times: the coordinates of the stores on your route are sent to Google Maps.
- To pass orders on: an order you place is sent to your employer's order desk (by email or to its order system), as set up by your employer.
- To share a shelf report: when you send a store owner their report, it becomes a page reachable only through its link. The page shows the shelf comparison and suggestions, never account details such as balances, licences or contacts.
Messages to store contacts that AIM drafts open in your own Messages, Mail or Phone app; nothing is sent until you send it there.
We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no third-party advertising or tracking.
Who can see it
Your employer (the distributor that set up your account) and the Ai Merch Corp staff who operate and support the service. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the service (hosting, Google Maps, Apple push notifications, email delivery), and with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Work records and photos are kept for as long as your employer's account is active, then deleted within 90 days of the account being closed. Notes kept by AIM's Memory can be switched off at any time in Profile → Memory.
Your choices
- You can deny or revoke location, camera, microphone, speech recognition and notification access in iOS Settings; the parts of the app that need them will stop working (you can still type to AIM).
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by writing to info@aimerch.io.
Children
AI Sales is a business tool for adults and is not directed at children.
